House League Program
For the 2020 season GLA will hope to have girls teams at the following levels that will play against the corresponding teams from Nepean Lacrosse Association:
All girls will be assessed and assigned to a house league team.

Competitive Program
Girls who wish to develop further will have the option to play on their house league team as well as try out for a spot on a competitive team that travels to Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA) girls-only tournaments and games.
The competitive stream will take place alongside the House League season and will include the addition of extra practices/games held in Zone 5 and 2 away tournaments plus Provincials.

For those girls interested in playing on a competitive team, please select Rep (age group) Girls during registration. There is no added cost to register for a competitive team. However, if chosen to play for a competitive team, additional fees will apply.
Information on competitive team try outs will be posted in March.
Time Commitments
The girls house league season runs from mid-April until the end of June, while the competitive players continue to practice up until provincials in August. The girls house league typically runs on Monday/Wednesday (a game and practice) and the competitive players get an additional practice (outside of house league) one other day of the week.
Coaches
For the 2020 season, the program will be seeking coaches for both house league and competitive, at all levels.
Try Lacrosse Sessions **Updated
GLA Girls’ Program will be hosting 4 free sessions for girls who are new to lacrosse. All sessions will be held from 7-8 pm at the Embrun Sports Dome (150 Sportsplex Street, Embrun)
