The Gloucester Griffins are proud to host the annual Ray Broadworth Memorial Tournament, an exciting weekend of OLA-sanctioned box lacrosse.

The Ray Broadworth Memorial Tournament is a long-standing tradition in Ontario Lacrosse Association, named to honor of Ray Broadworth, a founding member of the Gloucester Lacrosse Association. During the 1970s and 1980s, he significantly contributed to the development and growth of lacrosse in the region.

Broadworth was known for his passion for the game, mentoring young athletes and fostering a love for lacrosse at all levels. He was instrumental in the success of the Gloucester Griffins lacrosse program, helping to establish a strong foundation for player development and community engagement. The tournament continues to embody his values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication, ensuring that his legacy lives on through future generations of lacrosse players.
