Griffins Welcome Interim President

We’re pleased to announce Zabrina Hughes as our new Interim President.

Zabrina brings a strong history of dedication, leadership, and collaboration to the role. Having previously served as both Registrar and Community Outreach Director, she has been deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the association and in strengthening connections across our lacrosse community.

Her experience, steady leadership style, and commitment to working collaboratively with the board, volunteers, families, and athletes make her well suited to guide the organization during this transition period. We’re confident Zabrina will continue to support positive momentum and ensure stability as we move forward.

Please join us in welcoming Zabrina into her new role and thanking her for stepping up to serve our association.

Player spotlight

Jasen Hunter - Best in Class All Star

On January 10-11, Jasen travelled to Florida to compete in the Best in Class Showcase, an elite event designed to give players exposure to college coaches.

Based on his performance over the weekend, Jasen was selected to take part in the Best in Class All-Star Game, a single showcase match featuring top players from the event.

Jasen competes at the U17 level in box lacrosse, and this selection is a great recognition of his hard work, skill, and dedication to the game.

Way to represent, Jasen!
