Thank you for your patience as we continue to adapt our Winter programming to meet ongoing provincial, public health, and facility guidelines related to COVID-19.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to change much of our original planning and have a very important update for you now – please read this message carefully.

We will now begin our Girls Winter Development Sessions on Saturday April 17 at a new location!

If you are currently registered to participate in the GLA’s GIRLS WINTER DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS you do not need to re-register.  However, if you can no longer participate, please contact help@gloucester-lacrosse.com to inform us of this change so we may provide another player with this opportunity.  Spaces are limited due to facility caps.

THE PROGRAM: A total of 4 sessions over 2 weekends with dedicated coaches and training to build your skills in the off-season!

WHEN & WHERE: The four sessions will all take place at Brian Kilrea Arena (2185 Arch Street). Session times will be according to level, however, some participants may be placed in a different group to accommodate different skill levels. You will be notified if this is the case:

EQUIPMENT: Modified programming will mean players should have the following equipment: helmet with cage, mouth guard, elbow pads, gloves and stick. If you do not have a stick, one can be provided for the duration of the program (just let us know).

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: Ottawa is currently in the RED-Control Zone and we are optimistic that we will return to the ORANGE-Restrict Zone in time for our programming.  If this does not happen, rest assured we have plans in place to accommodate RED programming.

Information regarding the COVID protocols are shown in the infographic below/attached.  Before each session, an electronic COVID Player Waiver must be completed for each player in attendance. This form will be emailed to the address you provided in the registration form.  Unfortunately, parents and spectators will NOT be permitted to enter the facility at this time.
